Xbox 360 is a cheap system to collect for, you can get almost any game for $20 or less. I'd go for a slim model just for reduced risk of hardware failure. In my opinion for multiplatform games the Xbox 360 versions perform better than PS3 versions of the same game (RDR comes to mind).
Gap change in latest month: 370,168 - PS3 & X360. Gap change over last 12 months: 9,984,318 - PS3 & X360. Total Lead: 4,547,813 - PS4 & XOne. Total Combined PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Sales
The PS3 didn't win the console war, the Xbox 360 did. And in looking for proof of the Xbox 360's position as the defining console of the age, you can refer to no less an authority than President
Console Minecraft overall was better in the "Edition" versions. Multiplayer worked flawlessly, and there were fun multiplayer minigames like spleef and hunger games to play too. The game felt more like a game, and less like an ad. Playstation 4 Edition is where my love is at. It was pretty much just a better PS3 version.
The Xbox 360 game held up pretty well, while the PS3 version was impacted heavily with a hit of anything between 30 to 50 per cent on frame-rate in the move from 2D to 3D.
The question is like asking is blu-ray better than DVD. PS3 is higher Tech. If you want new improved higher tech go with the PS3 and Sony. Xbox is made by a software company and not a respected

Ps3 had 512mb of ram same as the 360 but the ps3 had it split between the cellbe and RSX so 256 each were as the xbox 360 had a free pool of 512 plus 10 mb cache on the gpu so the games on 360 could be bigger and ran a hell of a lot better, but developers learned to work around that issue and were able to use the cellbe like a second gpu they werw able to use all 8
The_Hitman_UK 9 years ago #4. In the early days of the ps3 and 360 yes the 360 performed better, but nowadays it's hard to tell the difference. Don't know about Dark Souls 2 but Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim perform better on the 360. .
